Reitermann Named CEO of Siemens Healthcare

Michael Reitermann was named CEO of Siemens Healthcare’s U.S. organization. He will be taking over for Dr. Heinrich Kolem who will become global head of Siemens Healthcare’s Angiography, Fluoroscopy and X-ray business unit.

Reitermann has most recently served as the president of Nuclear Medicine and CEO of Siemens Molecular Imaging Business Unit. He has also worked as vice president for sales, marketing and innovation of the Siemens Angiography, Fluoroscopy and X-ray business unit, partner in Siemens Management Consulting and senior project manager at the corporate strategies division.

Kolem has been CEO of Siemens Health U.S. organization since 2006. Before assuming that role he worked in the field of Magnetic Resonance Imaging. He was also responsible for supervising the launches of new technology such as SOMATOM Definition Flash, MAGNETOM Essenza, Biograph mCT, the Acuson S2000 and other imaging systems.
