Former IRS CIO Named As DHS New CIO

Department of Homeland Security has officially named Richard Spires as Chief Information Officer. Spires started his own consulting practice after leaving his position as CIO and deputy commissioner for operations support at the IRS in 2008. IBM to Acquire SPSS in $1.2 Billion Deal
