Brian Gieseler named CFO of iGov

Brian Gieseler has been appointed Chief Financial Officer (CFO) of iGov, reporting to Patrick Neven, Chairman and CEO. Gieseler will oversee the company’s financial, accounting and operations programs including information technology services and purchasing. Mr. Gieseler will also help chart the company’s strategic direction as part of iGov’s investment committee.

U.S. Offers Turkey $7.8 Billion Missile Purchase

The Pentagon has offered Turkey the opportunity to purchase the latest version of their Patriot air-defense missile as part of an arms package that will include up to 290 missiles including 72 PAC-3 models and communications gear. The package is valued at up to $7.8 billion.

DHS Searching for Wiki Administrator

The Department of Homeland Security National Cyber Security Center is currently searching for a company to administer the Cyber Operations Wiki System. The statement of work states that the project is set aside for a veteran-owned business.

Brazil Navy Awards Contract to Northrop Grumman

DoD awards EDS $8.1 million health IT contract

On Tuesday, Electronic Data Systems (EDS) announced that it had been awarded a contract by the Department of Defense’s Military Health System (MHS) worth $8.1 million.
